Christmas Gift Tags

Merry Christmas!!! I am getting ready for Christmas and am so excited that I finished my shopping on Saturday, just a day past black Friday. I did a lot of on line shopping and it was great as they ship either to my home or a store nearby. For the past few years I have been making the tags that go on the children's gifts. We collect them afterward to try to reuse but usually their moms keep them.Oh well let's go to the video and you can see how easy these go together. I made 12.

See how easy that was, no remember there is still time to get yours together too. I will have at least 1 more post on tags as I have 7 grandchildren. I need to count the gifts up I think I have to make 2 more dozen!

I hope you liked today's post, it was quick and easy and you better get yours done too. Thank you for your sweet-sweet words, your comment continue to inspire me to share with you. Have a blessed day.

My Anna Griffin Haul With Tips On Putting The Cards Together

Good afternoon! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by those you love. And of course, you didn't eat too much! Well after I the evening was done at our house my mother, daughter and grand daughter spent the evening after all else was gone or sleeping the food off going through all the fliers. so I didn't get this post done. Sorry! Anyway you have been shopping all morning so now you can take a break and read over my post.
I love Anna Griffin and had to get all the goodies to make the Christmas cards. I have had so much fun and still have a lot to do to finish. This post is for those of you that got the kits but haven't started. There are 2 videos, 1 that shows you what I bought and the 2nd what I made with tips interjected in. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me.

Isn't that awesome? Nothing nicer that getting the goodies. I was so excited.

Didn't you just love those cards. Yes I can brag as Anna did all the designing all I did was put them together with a little imagination. How fun this was not cutting.

Below you will find a ton of photos that I am not going to describe. However with that said toward the very bottom you will find photos where the fronts are done and the working is on the inside. Be sure to check that out also. They took more creativity and I love them. At first I thought I should have bought 2 boxes of the pop ups but I am happy I went this way.

Here are the different style cards were I designed the front and printed the inside. Just get your Explore out and have fun creating your headings and inside of the cards. I hope you like.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed this post and came away with a few tips and lots of encouragement! Thanks for your encouraging words, your comments continue to inspire me to keep sharing with me.

Holly Jolly Christmas Too

Good morning - Adrienne from Eagle Canyon Arts.  It's always a pleasure to be a part of Sheila's talented Sassy Lady design team.  Thank you, Sheila.

As promised, here's the second installment of Christmas greeting cards using the White Pines collection from CTMH.  Supplies used are listed here.

Edges of  some cards and pieces of cardstock used are inked with complimentary color to add interest.

On this card, use Colonial White Cardstock –3” Shape<z> Page 31 to create background shape.  White Pines complements and red enamel gems create the scene.
This card uses Fern Cardstock –2 ¾ “ Shape <Elegant> page 46 and Colonial White Cardstock – 2 ½ ” Shape<Elegant> Page 46, with White Pines complements and red enamel gems.  Add a twine bow to one of the packages or along the side for more pizzazz!
Most of the shapes on this card are cut by hand, except the ornament - Colonial White Cardstock –1 ¾ Shape <0> page 10.  Adhere the Fern green twine with liquid glass.
The simplicity of this card is accented by the sentiment and White Pines complement flowers.  For the stamp, use Colonial White Cardstock – 2” Shape<6> Page 6.

Note - All cuts use Real Dial size and are from the new Artistry cartridge.

The final three cards will be presented in the next post.  If you have any questions about this project, please contact me.  Best wishes for pleasant holidays.

Blessings,

The final photo, doesn't it look great. Can you imagine this as the center piece in a child's party? How fun is that!

Thank you for joing me in this three part series. It was so much fun being able to share with you. And, remember it doesn't take that long to do when you are not demonstrating.
Thank you for your sweet-sweet comments as Sheila would say. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TOO!

Carrousel Part 2

Hi, Sandy Evans here and we are going to work on part 2 of this beautiful Carrousel that we started yesterday. I hope you are having fun and following along. This project does take a lot of time but is well worth it.

There are many many steps in making this carrousel but you have plenty of videos to take you through step by step. Now please join me.

This video is a part of the top and will take you a couple of minutes to get together.

As you see it is coming together. We have to have this just right to support the center.

Don't worry we will start decorating in the nest video.

Time to decorate and you are only limited by your imagination here.

Well this is the last video today. I sure hope you are enjoying this post on day 2 and come back tomorrow so we can finish!

Well I hope you enjoyed today's post. Be sure to come back tomorrow so we can finish this up. Have a blessed day.
